A poodle between 15 and 20 inches (measured at the shoulder) has several names, Klein, moyen and medium.
Moyen is the French word for medium and Klein means medium in German. In this article we will use the term Moyen. Moyen are a fourth size of poodle recognized in Europe and other countries. The AKC considers and poodle over 15 inches as a standard poodle.
